A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height consisting of a stylized gold sunburst enclosed at bottom by two green palm fronds and all surmounted by a red chevron inscribed SIMUL EXIMUS in gold letters; overall a black saber.
The colors buff (gold) and scarlet are traditionally associated with Support. Red also represents valor and gold, excellence. The stylized sun, palm fronds and scimitar-like saber recall Saudi Arabia and commemorate the units Southwest Asia Campaign credit. The palm frond is emblematic of victory. The chevron, symbolic of support, together with the upright sword underscores the combat support mission of the organization. The motto translates to We Go Farther Together.
The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 19 November 1991.
